A-level Further Maths provides students with a thorough grounding in the mathematical tools and techniques often needed when continuing the study of mathematics past A-level. Students who have studied further mathematics often find the transition to university far more straight forward. Further Maths is taught through a combination of online learning and face-to-face teaching.

• Further Mechanics – Work, energy and Power, Elastic collisions in one dimension

Year 13

• Core Pure –  Algebra and functions, Coordinate geometry, Calculus
• Decision – Travelling Salesman, This Simplex algorithm
• Further Mechanics – Elastic strings and springs, Elastic collisions in two dimensions
