Student Leadership
Leadership Rooted in Faith
Leadership in a Salesian school is rooted in service, compassion and community. Inspired by the values of St John Bosco, student leadership encourages young people to lead with kindness, responsibility and a genuine commitment to others. Through leadership opportunities, students are empowered to use their voices positively, support those around them and contribute to a caring, inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and encouraged to thrive.
Student Leadership Team
Our Student Leadership Team plays a vital role in shaping a positive, inclusive and vibrant school community. Made up of our Year Captains and Student Council, these student leaders represent the voice of their peers and work collaboratively to make meaningful improvements across the school.
Year Captains meet with their Heads of Year each term, following a clear agenda focused on enhancing the overall Year Group climate. Through assemblies, organising events, and leading fundraising initiatives for their chosen charities, they actively promote engagement, wellbeing and community spirit. Working closely with Heads of Year, they also help identify and address issues and challenges within their year groups, ensuring that every student feels heard, supported and empowered.
After a highly competitive application and interview process within each year group, with an outstanding 133 applications submitted, we congratulate all students who put themselves forward and are proud to present the Year Captains for 2025/26. Their commitment, leadership and dedication truly set them apart.

Student Leadership Groups
To complement the Student Leadership Team, our school offers a wide range of additional leadership groups that further support and strengthen leadership across the school. In total, there are 11 fantastic leadership opportunities available, giving students meaningful ways to contribute to and lead within our school community. Here are the leaderships groups for 2025-26:
