The day started with books and breakfast in the school canteen to a book swap for all Year groups.

A 'Title Quest' competition was held with prizes given throughout the day and a 500 word story competition in class.

All of the English department delighted the students by dressing up as their favourite literacy character.

The fun doesn't end there though! Tomorrow there will be a book treasure hunt in the school library!
