In the last week of term, we gathered as a school community in prayer and worship, to prepare for the coming feast of Christmas. Expertly led by many student musicians, dancers, drama group and readers, we were challenged to reflect on the reality that this Christmas will be far from peaceful for many people, especially for those facing war and conflict in the very land in which Jesus was born.

Our thoughts also turned to people in our local community who are facing a challenging Christmas – representatives from Caritas sent a video message to thank our students for their fundraising efforts during Advent, and explained how their money will be used. We are so proud of all our students for their prayerful participation during these liturgies, and for sharing their gifts and talents to allow us to find the real meaning in the celebrations to come.
