On Thursday 15th June we held a leavers service in the school chapel for our Year 11s.

The service consisted of readings from Father Michael, Mrs O'Callaghan, students and their form tutors, along with music from our amazing Year 11 bands and an Abba compilation from our dancers!

Awards were given to the Student Leaders, an excellence award for sport and the school's Slupski award, which is given to the student who has made an outstanding contribution throughout their time at Thornleigh.

After the service, students were invited on to the school lawn to give them the opportunity to say goodbye to their teachers and to sign each others shirts! We were honoured to have one of our extremely talented students singing in the background also!

We wish all of the students all the very best of luck in the future and look forward to seeing those returning to our Sixth Form in September.
