Dear Parent/Carer
As you will be aware we have been preparing all week for the VE day celebrations for this bank holiday weekend and there has been some fantastic work done across all departments. Whilst this is a challenging and uncertain time for everyone it is right that we don’t lose sight of this important time in our nation’s history. I am delighted to share with you the video that our staff and students have put together to mark VE day but also to remind all our students how much we are missing them and how much we are looking forward to returning to school. On Thursday 30th April at 4pm there is a UCAS Q&A for parents, guardians and carers being hosted live on facebook.
Students have been completing work that is being set for them on Show My Homework by their teachers, or in the booklets that they took home for three weeks now and we are continually looking for ways that we can make this whole process better for everyone.

Re: Coronavirus update – school closure to most pupils
Partial School Closure
Effective Thursday 19th & Friday 20th March
Due to staffing issues Years 9, 10 & 12 students are to stay at home. Years 7, 8, 11 & 13 students will remain in school. There will be further updates throughout the day.

We have made the decision to postpone the Dance show that is scheduled for the 19th and 20th March 2020.
