On Wednesday 25th June, Thornleigh Chapel was filled with joy and celebration as over 90 young people from across the St Joseph’s Deanery received the Sacrament of Confirmation. Bishop John Arnold presided over the moving service, confirming candidates from various parishes in the presence of their families, sponsors, catechists and friends.

The chapel was filled to capacity, creating a vibrant and prayerful atmosphere. The Thornleigh choir led the music with powerful and uplifting singing, enriching the liturgy and helping to make the occasion truly memorable.

A number of priests from the Salesian community and local parishes joined the Bishop for the service, offering their support and prayers for the newly confirmed.

Congratulations to all the candidates who took this important step in their faith journey. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped prepare and support them along the way – especially the catechists, families and parish communities.
