426 SUMMER NEWSLETTER 2022 SALESIAN GAMES ATHLETICS One of the highlights of the sporting calendar is the Salesian Games. All s ix Salesian schools from across the country met at Wavertree Athletics Stadium in Liverpool as this years games were hosted by our friends at Savio Salesian College in Bootle. This was a first time experience for many of our students and staff and the event was brilliant - our students behaved in a truly Salesian manner whilst still managing to compete with a fantastic grit and determination to win. We traditionally do well at this event and this year was no different with our girls blowing away the field to finish 1st overall, with the boys finishing a respectable 3rd. Wel l done to all of our athletes that participated - roll on next year!
